Rescuers recovered the wrestler's body from Venice Beach three days later and transported him to a nearby hospital. Shalias Gaspard's wife, Saliana Gaspard, made a statement on Instagram yesterday thanking rescuers for their efforts to save her husband. Kofi Kingston, a fellow wrestler and former WWE Champion at Shad Gas Pard, tweeted that it was a difficult time for Gas Pard's family. He was a good man and a great wrestler, praying for his family.
